Computer Programming July 13, 2005 |

Life is like a computer program in the sense that we are the computer, God is the programmer, and the way we live is the program. God has created a flawless program that allows each of us to live together in perfect harmony. However, Satan is a computer hacker who has created viruses that try to destroy God's perfect program.
The process is simple. We have to continually guard our hearts and minds by covering them with the Word of God. Here are some ways: Psalm 119:11 NKJV Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Philippians 4:7-9 NKJV 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. James 4:7 NKJV Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Galatians 5:16-26 NKJV 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. It is common knowledge that once a computer program is infected it can crash if not treated quickly and correctly. Please take care of what God has worked to sustain. He wants us all to succeed and to live the program the way He has always intended-with love and happiness. Don't let the devil hack his way into your program. I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Min. Tommy & Sis. Shatika Gray |
