Matt. 6:8 NKJV "Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. Our God is an awesome God! He laid the foundations of the earth and determined its measurements. He alone decided the boundaries for the seas and oceans. He commands hail and lightening, and controls the winds and the waves (Job 38). God can number the clouds and call each of the stars by name. He can speak out of a whirlwind or burning bush, or even through a donkey is He so chooses (Num 22:28-30). There is no limitations to what He can do. And this same God is our Father. Galatians 3:26 NKJV For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:29 NKJV And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. We shouldn't envy anyone else's father for what kind of money he makes or the gifts that he buys for his child. We have a Father that knows all and sees all. A Father who will never pass away or abandon us. A Father who provides all of our needs and delights in giving us all our hearts' desire. So if God is our Father and He owns the whole universe then what does that make us? KING'S KIDS! Rejoice! I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! Shatika Gray Scripture References Matthew 6:9-13 KJV 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Numbers 22:28-30 NKJV 28 Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, "What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?" 29 And Balaam said to the donkey, "Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!" 30 So the donkey said to Balaam, "Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?" And he said, "No." |
