| God's Goodness Nov. 14, 2006 |

Psalm 27:13 NKJV I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. As time goes by, memories tend to fade, details become fuzzy, and sometimes we forget them altogether. But we must fight to hold on to the memories that reflect God's goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. The memories that will renew our faith and remind us of what God has done for us. When we let these memories slip away we will start to lose faith. They are the very substance that feeds our faith and without them our faith is weak. So take some time today to get the memories back. Reflect on times that God has really come through. Remember how it felt when the circumstances were hopeless until God turned everything around. Remember how it felt to be lost and the joy of being found and saved by God. Let's dedicate today as a day to rejoice in God's goodness while we are yet in the land of the living. I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Pastor Tommy & Sis. Shatika Gray |
