God Has Not
Forgotten

Today's Topic is God Has Not Forgotten

Is. 49:14-16 NKJV  14 But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten
me.”  15 “ Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her
womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.  16 See, I have inscribed you on the
palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

There is so much sadness all around us.  Everywhere we turn, there are people hurting because of grief,
bitterness, or disappointments that have occurred in their lives.  And the sad part about it is that most of
    us don't even notice it.

Churches are having revivals, couples are getting married, babies are being born, and reunions are still
being planned.  But what about these hurting people?

    Last week alone, a father lost his son to the war in Iraq; a man buried his wife; a woman lost her father;
and a man lost his mother.  Another lost her father-in-law, while yet another lost his aunt.  One little boy
lost his mother and grandmother at the same time and there are still others mourning the loss of a close
friend.  And for each one of these people, the loved ones that were lost will always be remembered, but
at the same time, it hurts to see how the world just continues on as if nothing ever happened.  How do
they go on?  How do they face a life without their loved ones?

There are also people experiencing marital separations or divorce, bad reports from the doctor, stressful
job situations and financial crisis.  And there are people who are not sure where their next meal is going
to come from.  Who are these people?  They could be a coworker, or a fellow church member.  They
could be someone we ride the bus with or a friend of a friend.  It could also be you and me.  The
relationship doesn't matter.  What matters is that we all have something in common.  And that is that God
knows exactly what each one of us is experiencing.  He feels the pain, He sees the guilt, and He hears
    the questions.

Yes, God is a very busy person.  He has to take care of the trees, the fields, the seas, the sun, the moon,
and the stars.  He has to protect and care for the animals, and make sure that all of the angels receive
their assignments for the day.  He has to check on all of the galaxies and He has to tell the birds where to
go and how to get there.  Yet, He still takes the time to remember each one of us.

God has not forgotten.  Despite all that is on His calendar for the day, He knows exactly where to find us
and how to comfort us in our time of need.  Whenever we call, He will drop everything to be by our side
and He will give us His full attention.  There is no prayer that is a waste of His time, there is no situation
that He is tired of hearing about.  You are too precious and too important to Him.  You may feel like the
whole world has forgotten your pain, but God has not forgotten.

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!

    God Bless,
Min. Tommy & Sis. Shatika Gray
