Ex. 14:13 NLT But Moses told the people, "Don't be afraid. Just stand where you are and watch the LORD rescue you. The Egyptians that you see today will never be seen again. There are times when we go to the Lord in prayer pleading for a miracle. However, most of the time, the situation is not yet ready for a miracle. We still have resources that we can use to solve the problem. But we ask God anyway, not really realizing what we are asking for. Then the situation gets worse. What happened? Well, when we asked for a miracle, we actually asked God to let all of the water boil out of the pot. That means, let the situation get to its lowest point to where there are no other resources and no one else can get the glory but God. That is what a miracle is: A situation that is utterly hopeless in human hands. If there are still other ways to solve the problem then the situation is not yet in need of a miracle. So then God has to set the proper conditions in order to answer our prayer. But, just like a baby, a miracle will not come forth before its appointed time. And, while God is working, we must be still and watch for the salvation of the Lord. When God decides that we are ready for a miracle, He is going to show us how bad things really are and then He'll say, "Watch this!" He will then speak to our circumstances and a miracle will be birthed. Our circumstances have no other choice except to bow to the Almighty Creator. If we are in need of a miracle, God certainly knows how to get one to us. But if we are not quite there yet, we should be careful what we ask for or we just might get it. I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Min. Tommy & Sis. Shatika Gray |
