2 Cor 3:16-18 NLT 16 But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. According to the verse above, before we began walking with the Lord we were walking through life with a veil over us. A veil that changed our perspective and colored our views. A veil that clouded our judgment and distorted our motives. A veil that made the world an ugly, hopeless place. But the moment that we turned to God the veil was lifted and we were placed in transition. Transition from faithless to faithful; hopeless to hopeful; captives to captivators; haters to innovators. We are given freedom to change the direction that we are heading. Freedom to change the reflection that we see in the mirror to one that resembles Christ instead of one that embodies all of our self-fulfilling prophecies. We can amount to something. We are somebody, because Christ has transitioned us. Yes, we may fall from time to time but that is why we are changed into His image by glory to glory, step by step, one day at a time. Transitioning is a process and we are given grace to complete it. If you want this in your life and you want to become a new person in Christ then turn to Christ today so that the veil can be lifted. You do not have to become who they say you are. You can be a child of God! (Go to Salvation Prayer on the navigation menu.)
