Hold 'em Up Sept. 21, 2005 |

Exodus 17:12 NKJV But Moses' hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. Sometimes. even great leaders get tired and they need help. Aaron and Hur didn't just talk about Moses when they saw that he needed help. Nor did they encourage him with words. Instead, they took action. They jumped in and helped him bare the heavy burden. If a person walks by with too much stuff in their hands, should we sit back and watch them struggle to open the door in front of them or should we help? If someone around us is carrying heavy boxes that are about to fall over, should we watch or help? So many times, we look at our leaders and judge them because we don't feel that they handled a situation properly or we can see that they are starting to let important things slip. Please, don't shake your head and walk away. Volunteer to help hold them up. Teach a class, clean a room, cut the grass, file a folder, or at least commit to pray. This also applies to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. If a brother/sister is slipping, hold 'em up! We need to continually lift each other up in prayer. We are all battling against the same enemy. I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Min. Tommy & Sis.
