| A Season Pt. 1 Sept. 3, 2008 |

Eccl 3:1 NKJV To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: There is a time and a season for everything. Whenever God allows heartache and pain to come about in our lives, it is always for a reason, and it lasts for only a season. The season that God currently has you in will only last long enough for God to accomplish his purpose. When a metal-worker decides to make something out of metal or steal, he first has to put the metal into a furnace. Once the metal is hot enough, the metal-worker takes out the metal and uses a special hammer to beat the metal into the shape he desires for it to be. If the metal does not take the correct shape, the metal-worker puts the metal back into the furnace and allows the metal to burn even more. This time when the metal-worker takes it out, it easily conforms into the shape he desires it to become, however, the metal does not come out until its appointed time. God is the metal-worker and we are the metal. God uses the situations and circumstances of life to shape us into what he desires for us to become. God will keep us in our situations (our season) until it is time for us to come out. The way that e respond to our season will also determine how long our season will last. God will spare no pain, in order to accomplish his purpose. No matter what season you may be in right now, in everything give thanks and ask God to help you see your season from his point of view. If that is our prayer, he will honor. PRAYER FOR THE WEEK Lord, help me to see my season through your eyes. I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday!
